Tip: How to Thread a Needle
I'm sure you've been taught to wet the thread when trying to thread a needle ... but wait! If you wet the eye of the needle instead, you'll find it's suddenly easier to get the thread through that tiny hole. It turns out that the capillary action of the moisture draws the thread through ... who knew?!?! (Uou can also use this trick on your sewing machine too ... just moisten your fingers and wipe on the eye of the needle on your machine).
