Create your own necklace (or earrings, bracelets ... etc.) from a washer found at your local hardware store. Check out the complete tutorial at Memory Makers....
Try it with different materials .. they suggest scrap paper ... but why not try some sheet music, a page from a book (your favorite novel, dictionary, etc.) or even fabric. Next time you sew up that cute new skirt to spruce up your wardrobe, keep a scrap and make a necklace to match!
